How to measure → • Measure to the nearest ⅛″. Height can’t be more than 4 times the width.
Mount type
Mounting depth: inside mount needs at least 3 9/16″ (3½″ fascia), 4 3/16″ (4½″ fascia), 3¾″ / 4⅛″ (fabric valance 3½″ / 4½″) or 4⅝″ (wood valance). Outside mount needs about 2″ of flat surface at each side and above the opening.

Curved fascia: covered in your shade fabric, with end caps — no returns. Fabric valance: 3½″ or 4½″, same price. Wood Modern valance: 4½″, 12 paint and stain colors.

The curved fascia has end caps, not returns.

Light guard (side channels)
Basic: aluminum L-shaped side channels (35 × 15 mm) plus a white 4½″ top light block. Premium wood: wood L-shaped side channels (about 1⅜″) plus the white top block. Pieces over 96″ are spliced.
Hold-downs are usually for doors.

Blackout (Norman Room Darkening) fabrics are not a total blackout: some light passes at the edges and between the vanes.
Minor gaps between closed vanes are normal.
Size tolerance: width ±1/16″, height ±1/4″.
Fabric: 100% polyester. Light dusting or an air blower is fine; spot cleaning and vacuuming are not recommended.
