Blackout (Wallace Room Darkening) fabrics are not a total blackout: some light passes at the edges and between the bands.
Bands line up when the shade is open or closed; small differences between side-by-side shades are normal unless band matching is ordered.
Wallace makes every shade to the size ordered; inside-mount deductions are taken at the factory.
