Shades on the headrail
2-on-1: one headrail across a wide window with two shades side by side that raise and lower on their own. Each is priced as its own shade at its own width. Bottom up only (cordless, woven cordless or cord loop) — not made top down / bottom up, Day & Night, motorized, or with a light guard or a cut-out.

Side channels that close the light gaps at the edges of an inside-mount shade.
Magnetic hold-down$28 per shade (retail)
Holds the bottom rail still on doors. Allow about 1½″ of wall beside the shade. Not recommended on metal doors.

A notch in the bottom of the shade to clear a window crank or lock.
Pole attachment$45 each (retail), up to 2
For hard-to-reach windows. Fits standard telescopic poles from a hardware store.

Mounts into the sides of the window frame when there’s no room at the top. Best on shades up to 37″ wide.
Over 37″ wide the regular brackets are needed as well.
