Pull the bottom rail handle down to lower; push up to raise. No cords or chains — Norman's best-in-class cordless system. WCMA Best for Kids™ certified.
A loop on the side operates the shade in both directions: a plastic cord loop colour-matched to your fabric, or a stainless steel metal chain. Smooth, consistent force regardless of shade weight. Ideal for most windows.
Norman's patent-pending innovation. Releases the shade from a raised position with a gentle pull — no lifting required. Ideal for high or hard-to-reach windows. Added with the cord loop (you can remove it); not available with the metal chain or on coupled shades.
Battery or hardwired motor inside the roller tube. Control by app, remote, wall switch, voice (Alexa/Google/HomeKit), or schedule. Completely cord-free.
Every Soluna fabric belongs to one light control level. Within each level there are several fabric collections with different textures, weaves and colorways — every one is listed in the configurator below.
Woven mesh fabric. Reduces glare and UV while maintaining your view. You see out — people cannot easily see in during daylight hours.
Diffuses sunlight into a soft glow while maintaining privacy during the day. The warmest, most decorative option. Best for living areas and dining rooms.
Sheer fabrics soften the light and keep the view; natural woven fabrics bring texture and an organic look. Both let light through.
Blackout fabric blocks light through the material; a little light can still pass at the edges. Pair it with Full Blackout Side Channels for a fully enclosed, 4-sided blackout. Bedrooms, nurseries, media rooms.
Every Soluna can be installed either way. Your window's depth and trim profile determines the best option — we assess this when we measure.
The shade fits within the window opening. Clean, recessed look that shows off the window trim. Most popular choice for windows with depth.
The shade is mounted on the wall or trim above the window opening. The shade hangs wider and taller than the opening, maximizing light blockage and making windows appear larger.
