Mount type
Inside mount
Shade fits inside the window frame. Clean, built-in look. Min frame depth required.
Outside mount
Mounts on wall or ceiling above the frame. Covers more area, good for shallow frames.
Inside mount: give us your exact frame width and height — we'll deduct 1/4" from width for a proper fit.
Outside mount: add 2–4" to each side of the opening for full coverage. Mount 2–4" above the frame to maximize the look.

Headrail & valance
Open roll
No valance — clean and minimal. Fabric tube is visible at the top.
Most popular
Cassette
Enclosed headrail box hides the tube completely. Best for blackout.
Fascia
Decorative flat valance that drops in front of the tube. Slim, modern look.
Wood valance box
Premium chunky wood frame. Traditional look, great for custom paint or stain.

For blackout shades, cassette is recommended — it eliminates the light gap around the tube.
