Mount type
Inside mount fits inside the window frame — clean, built-in look, min frame depth required. Outside mount mounts on wall or ceiling above the frame — covers more area, good for shallow frames.
Inside mount: give us your exact frame width and height.
Outside mount: add 2–4" to each side of the opening for full coverage. Mount 2–4" above the frame to maximize the look.

Fabric
Solar Screen keeps your view and cuts glare and UV. Blackout blocks the light. Dual: two shades on one bracket set, a solar screen and a blackout, so you choose either one. A dual is open roll.

Top of the shade
Open roll: the fabric roll shows at the top — clean and minimal. Metal fascia: a 4″ square metal cover over the roll for a finished look, with end caps (no returns).

Roll direction
Regular: fabric drops behind the roll, close to the window. Reverse: fabric rolls off the front — usually chosen to clear a handle or trim. No charge either way.
Reverse roll is open roll only — it can’t be used with the metal fascia.
A dual is open roll: the 4″ metal fascia doesn’t cover two rolls.
Motorized Basic Roller Shades are custom priced for now — send your request and Justin will call you with a price.
Motor warranty is provided by the motor manufacturer, not by Blindznation.
Lutron is always custom priced — send your request and Justin will call you with a Lutron price.
Power
Battery: rechargeable, no electrician needed. Solar: the same battery kept charged by a small solar panel at the window. 110v plug-in: into a wall outlet. Hardwired low voltage: wired to a low-voltage power supply (needs an electrician).
Accessories — for the whole order
A hub adds app and voice control (not needed for a remote). Chargers are for battery and solar motors. Repeaters extend range on bigger homes. One of each can serve the whole house.

Your details
Warranty: Basic Roller Shades are sold as-is, with no Blindznation warranty. Motors carry the manufacturer’s warranty only (Somfy or Automate by Rollease). Not covered: chains (a wear part that can break), fabric rubbing, fraying or edge wear, and anything caused by installation, such as a shade mounted out of level. We will remake a shade that arrives damaged or not built to your approved specs if reported within 7 days with clear photos taken where it was delivered — the package as it arrived (before opening, shipping label showing), the damage, and the shade’s label. No photos, no claim. Terms, Section 16.
