How to measure → · SmartDrape™ is outside mount — order your desired finished track width.

Order width = track width, end cap to end cap (motorized: gearbox to gearbox); height = top of headrail to bottom of vane. We deduct nothing — Norman makes the shade. Single shade: track 17⅝″–285⅝″. Side by side: 15⅝″–284⅜″ per shade. Motorized center opening: 30″–354⅜″. Height 24″–144″. Shade width (track − 5½″) × height may not pass 237 sq ft. Tolerances: shade width ±¾″, height ±½″, stacking ±13/16″. Overlap the opening at least 4″ in width and 3″ in height; leave ½″ floor clearance on doors. Even vane spacing: track widths in 4″ steps from 17⅝″ (others allowed).

Mount type

SmartDrape™ is Outside mount only — no inside mount. Order your desired finished track width.

Wall mount: standard L brackets included (3 15/16″); an optional long L bracket (5 11/16″) is $61 per shade. Ceiling mount: direct through the pre-drilled headrail or with C clips, no charge. Brackets included: up to 72″ track 2 · up to 94⅜″ 3 · up to 144″ 4 · up to 197⅞″ 6 · up to 285⅝″ 9.

Light Filtering: diffuses light and keeps the view (Plain, Net, Pacific, Circle, Coronado, Teardrop). Light Filtering Essentials: Lakeshore Stripe, its own price chart. Blackout (Norman Room Darkening fabrics): much darker, +20%.

Keystones dress a SmartJoint (a spliced track): up to one per SmartJoint, plus one at the side-by-side center — $73 each. Additional wand $89 each. Alternating colors: +10% of the chart price. Spare vane packs (6 vanes) priced by height; Blackout packs +20%. Long L bracket (5 11/16″): $61 per shade, wall mount only. Aluminum shims: wall, Long L or ceiling mount — one per bracket, $28 each.

Your details

Blackout is not light-proof — some light passes through edges and vane openings

Minor gaps between closed vanes are normal

Slight vane bowing and wrinkles are normal; wrinkles usually disappear after a few days hanging

Fabric fraying at cut edges is normal and can be clipped

Vane alignment tolerance: ±13/16″ per shade

Fabric composition: 100% Polyester

Care

Light dusting or air blower — OK

Steam or iron to remove wrinkles — OK

Vacuuming — not recommended

Spot cleaning — not recommended (fabric is not water resistant)
